The systematic electronic, physical and visual examination of a designated area by trained and qualified persons, utilising appropriate equipment and techniques in an effort to locate transmitting or surreptitious listening devices, security hazards or other means in which classified, sensitive or proprietary information could be intercepted or lost.

Physical search using a variety of tools including non linear junction detector, bore-scopes and electronic devices the target area is thoroughly examined to ascertain the presence of eavesdropping equipment.

Electronic search using the most advanced equipment and software available. The target area is electronically "sniffed" to detect the presence of surreptitious listening devices.

Telephone / Mains search conducted using specialist equipment designed to check telephone equipments and mains cables for the presence of parasite devices, voice operated devices and a host of other clandestine devices.

Wireless Access Point (WAP) emissions will be 'sniffed' to locate unauthorised (rogue) and insecurely configured WAP's.

Live monitoring during a meeting to detect the possibility of a device transmitting room audio / video as the meeting is in progress, this can be done covertly from a nearby room location.

Mobile phones are a commonly used eavesdropping device, the phone is carried into the room live so as to provide a live commentary of the meeting to an outsider also a mobile phone can be adapted so it can be dialled into without activating the ring tone or display and again provide live commentary.
